Welcome to Best n West Painting. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. These terms govern the relationship between Best n West Painting and our clients in Melbourne, Victoria.
All quotes provided by Best n West Painting are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Our estimates are based on a physical inspection or detailed information provided by the client regarding the house or shop. Any structural changes or additional repairs discovered after work begins may result in a price adjustment, which will be discussed and agreed upon before proceeding.
Quotes include the cost of premium paint materials, surface preparation, and labor unless otherwise specified in writing. We reserve the right to revise quotes if the scope of work is altered by the client after the initial agreement.
To secure a booking for residential or commercial painting, a deposit may be required. The remaining balance is strictly due upon completion of the project, unless a progress payment schedule has been specifically arranged for larger commercial contracts.
Clients are responsible for providing clear and safe access to the work area. For interior painting, we request that fragile items, electronics, and valuable furniture be moved or secured prior to our arrival. While we take every precaution to protect your property with drop sheets and masking, Best n West Painting is not liable for damage to items left in the immediate work zone.
We take pride in our "Best n West" standard. We guarantee our workmanship for a specified period against peeling or flaking caused by faulty application. This guarantee does not cover damage caused by structural movement, moisture ingress from plumbing leaks, or wear and tear in high-traffic commercial environments.
For exterior painting projects in Melbourne, work is subject to favorable weather conditions. We reserve the right to reschedule start dates or pause ongoing work to ensure the paint cures correctly and meets our quality standards.
We understand that plans change. We request at least 48 hours' notice for the cancellation or rescheduling of a confirmed project. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee to cover labor allocation costs.
Best n West Painting operates in compliance with Victorian OH&S regulations. Our team reserves the right to stop work if the site is deemed unsafe or if hazardous materials (such as unsecured lead-based paint or asbestos) are encountered that were not previously disclosed.
